Welcome!!!

Well hello out there in blog land! I have wanted to start a blog for quite some time now, but finally got the fire lit under me to do something about it this evening. Since we have family and friends all over God's green earth, I figured this could be a good way to update them on our family and what is going on in our lives. Also, it'll give me someone else to talk to about the things I like to do, because, well, my husband can only listen to me talk about certain things for so long. He's a man, and that pretty much explains it! 

"What shall I expect out of this new blog of yours, Michaelyn?"- (you) So glad you asked! ;) Well, asside from my 2 little munchkins, I'll be blogging about a great many things, including but not limited to the following:
- my cricuit and how I probably should have developed a knack for all things crafty before I made that invesment,

- my camera and how I daydream it was a fancy schmancy DSLR,
- going to school and how it makes me a crazy person sometimes but how I PRAY it will pay off with a nursing degree someday,
- Disneyland because, ummm, you could say I'm slightly obsessed.


Okay, so I'm definitely not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to this blog thing-a-ma-jig. (And yes, while saying that I do feel a bit like the elderly fellow on the new Progressive insurance commercial.) Please bare with me while I work out some kinks and get used to this whole situation, because I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship...that is, if anyone out there is reading this?
